Haemodialysis

What does it involve?
Haemodialysis is a treatment that helps your body remove waste and extra fluid when your kidneys are no longer able to do so effectively. During each session, your blood flows through a sterile filter called a dialyser (or artificial kidney), which gently cleans it before returning it to your body.

At Expedius, our in-centre dialysis treatments are performed in a calm, welcoming environment under the supervision of skilled nephrologists and registered dialysis nurses. Each patient has their own comfortable treatment station, equipped with modern technology, Wi-Fi access, and individual entertainment options to make the time pass more easily.

Most patients receive haemodialysis three times per week, with each session lasting around four hours. Our clinical team monitors your vital signs throughout every session to ensure your treatment is safe, effective, and individually adjusted to your needs.
